Chi-O Rodeo

What is Chi-O Rodeo?

Chi-O Rodeo is our annual fundraiser hosted in the spring to raise money in support of our philanthropy/national partners, the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event was rodeo themed, with sisters dressed in cowboy boots, hats, and blue jeans. Between the beautifully decorated event space, deliciously smelling food, and numerous fun activities, there was a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air as everyone gathered together for a good cause.

The Menu:

Food, Fun, and Music

The music was provided by a local band, Continental Breakfast, and their lively tunes had everyone tapping their toes and swaying to the beat. One of the most exciting parts of the event was the "pieing a Chi Omega" activity. This involved guests donating money to Make-A-Wish in exchange for the chance to pie one of the Chi Omega sisters in the face with a cream pie.

In addition, throughout the evening guests were able to participate in a range of activities, including intense games of corn hole, a photo booth station, and all mean the while mingling with friendly faces of the SFE and ISU community.

By the end of the evening, the event had raised a substantial amount of money for Make-A-Wish, thanks to the generosity of the guests and the hard work of the Chi Omega sisters. Everyone left with a sense of satisfaction, knowing that they had contributed to a great cause while having a fun-filled day.

Total Amount Raised:

$3,717
