April Formal Dinner
KEYNOTE:
Formal dinner will be held Tuesday, April 4th, with guest speaker Julie Brandt. Julie is currently the Senior Account Executive with Ascend Technologies located in Des Moines, IA. Completing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Iowa, Julie is a strong sales professional skilled in enterprise software, customer relationship management, strategic partnerships, professional services, and within the software industry.
We are thrilled to have Julie speak to our chapter about her life story, give insight to her profession, and learn about any advice she has for young women pursing their aspirations.

ABOUT GREEK WEEK
Greek Week is a 70 year tradition at Iowa State! The goal of Greek Week is to unite the Greek Community under a common bond of fraternal friendship. There are activities to improve our community, to foster friendship, and of course, to have some fun along the way.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Chapters are combines into teams, where they dance and compete in lip sync contests, race and play in the Greek Olympics and Tournaments, and participate in the Special Olympics fundraiser Polar Bear Plunge. The Greek Community is consistently the largest fundraiser for the Special Olympics of Iowa!
The week concludes with Greek Week Awards, which includes a keynote speaker and awards from throughout Greek Week.

Formal dinner will be held Tuesday, March 7th, with guest speaker Katie Olson. Katie will be speaking on “Empowering Women”. More specifically, overcoming barriers and challenges, celebrating women's accomplishments, and discussing the importance of educating and empowering young women in their journey to success.
